50 Easy Ways to Be a Fun Mom (From Momster to Funster!)

Go from momster to funster as a fun mom!

I don’t know about you, but ever since I became a mom to my spunky-spirited toddler, I lost all energy to be fun. I’m the watcher that makes sure my son doesn’t get hurt. I’m the patient one when my son wants to try to put on his shoes by himself.

I’m the angry one when I’ve had it up to here, and my son just is too needy, and I need a break.

Yup, I’m every other mom except the fun mom.

The mom that jumps, skips, runs, and swings. The mom that laughs, dances, chase and lift.

What happened? For me, it’s not living in the moment. For me, it’s forgetting that I’m a stay-at-home mom, not a stay-at-home maid.

The Secret to Getting More Done With Kids at Home

Learn the secret to getting more done with kids at home!

I have a boy that is needy, crazy and OMG wants ME, ME, ME all the time!

Now that I’m a stay-at-home mom, there are things that have to get done in a day.

Every day I do two loads of laundry from washing to folding.

I have to make three meals for me, my little one and my big one (aka husband).

It’s tough when everyone in my family eats entirely different meals. While my son could eat tomatoes and avocados for every meal, my husband could care less about avocados and I can only tolerate so many tomatoes in a meal, EVERY DAY.

The Reason I Became a Stay-at-Home Mom

The reason I became a stay at home mom!

** update **
Due to some big life changes recently I’m no longer a stay-at-home mom. I treasure the time I spent over the past year and my blogging journey has been a fabulous learning experience. But I’ve come to the realization that working outside the home is where I’m needed. — Cathy

I grew up in a household where both my parents worked out of the home. This is all I knew, but as a child, I didn’t like it. My mom would come home and had to hurry to get dinner on the table and there was no time for her to check my homework or even play with me.

It’s sad when I think about it. I love my mom and I know both my parents had to work to support me and my sister. So, when I was pregnant, I figured I had to go back to work when my maternity ended. It’s just what you do.

But, my husband said, you only live once!
